This class is part of the MyFunScience live online homeschool classes, which provide structured instruction for middle school and high school students. Families can explore all of our homeschool foreign language courses.
This live online Spanish 2 class builds directly on the foundation established in Spanish 1. Students expand vocabulary, strengthen grammar, and continue developing conversational fluency.
Spanish 2 continues using the Comprehensible Input (TPRS) approach. Students deepen their listening, reading, and conversational abilities while grammar continues to develop naturally through meaning, repetition, and clear explanations when helpful.
Students will speak, understand, and read Spanish from the first week — continuing to grow in fluency and confidence throughout the year.

What Class Looks Like
Course Structure & Expectations
Students should plan on approximately 30–40 minutes of work each day, four days per week, in addition to the live class session.
Students continue working through the core text used in Spanish 1 while reading one or two additional novels completely in Spanish during the year.
Because the course incorporates significant “out-of-text” material, we move through the text intentionally and thoroughly while expanding vocabulary and comprehension.
Scripture memory, praise songs, hymns, contemporary music, cultural exploration, foods, and games remain integrated throughout the course.
