Description
Physical Science Overview:
This class is approved by the NCAA.
This Physical Science introduction to formal science provides preparation for high school Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Students will study topics such as air, the atmosphere, water and the hydrosphere, the structure of the earth, weather, atoms and molecules, the physics of motion, Newton’s laws, work and simple machines, electricity and magnetism, sound, light, and nuclear energy. Students will learn how to take measurements, keep experimental data, and to compose a proper technical lab report.
