Exploring US History Course Overview
This live online U.S. history class introduces homeschool middle school students to the story of the United States from early exploration to modern-day America. Families can explore all of our homeschool history courses offered through MyFunScience.
Students learn about the people, events, and ideas that shaped the nation while gaining a deeper understanding of how the past influences the present.
Mrs. Coffey is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and brings her extensive genealogical and historical knowledge into the classroom. Through engaging stories and historical connections, students experience the founding of the United States in a meaningful and memorable way.
Weekly textbook readings form the foundation of the course, while discussions, PowerPoint presentations, virtual museum tours, videos, and historical insights help bring American history to life.
This course provides an excellent foundation for students who will later take a full high school U.S. History course.
