This class is part of the MyFunScience live online homeschool classes, which provide structured instruction for middle school and high school students.
This live online Algebra 2 class builds on the concepts introduced in Algebra 1 and helps students develop the algebra skills needed for advanced high school mathematics.
Students extend their understanding of topics such as polynomials, factoring, algebraic fractions, exponents, radicals, and quadratic equations. The course also introduces new concepts including conic sections, synthetic division, matrices, and exponential and logarithmic functions.
The primary goal of Algebra 2 is to prepare students for upper-level math courses such as Precalculus, College Algebra, and other advanced mathematics classes.
It is NOT necessary to complete Geometry prior to taking this course.

Live Online Algebra 2 Class

This course utilizes the online learning system MathXL®, a powerful online homework, tutorial, and assessment platform.
Students complete homework and tests through MathXL to receive repeated practice and build confidence in their math skills.
