Description
Spanish 4 Course Overview
This class is approved by the NCAA.
This class is part of the MyFunScience live online homeschool classes, which provide structured instruction for middle school and high school students. Families can explore all of our homeschool foreign language courses.
This live online Spanish 4 class is the most advanced level of the MyFunScience Spanish program. By this stage, students have developed strong comfort and ability with the language, allowing us to move into deeper and more advanced application.
In many schools this would be considered an Honors Spanish course. Students continue studying advanced verb structures and whole-language usage using Excelerate Spanish Book 2 as a spine, combined with novels, extended readings, Scripture, music, culture, and discussion.
Class size is intentionally small, allowing students ample opportunity to speak, interact, ask questions, and engage deeply with the language.
Students interested in preparing for the CLEP Spanish exam may receive guidance and support from the instructor. Additional preparation outside of class may be required.
If entering from another curriculum, please review the Spanish 1–3 course descriptions to understand the instructional method. A brief placement assessment may be required to ensure proper placement.
