Description
Life of David Course Overview
This live online Bible class for homeschool students explores the remarkable life of King David through an in-depth character study of one of Scripture’s most influential leaders. Families can explore all of our Bible courses for homeschool students.
Students examine David’s triumphs, failures, faith, and repentance to better understand why the Bible describes him as a man after God’s own heart.
Through careful study of the biblical narrative, students explore questions such as: What enabled David to trust God in the face of danger? How did his relationship with the Lord shape his leadership and worship? What lessons from David’s life still speak to believers today?
As we walk through David’s story—from shepherd boy to king—students discover how God uses imperfect people for His purposes and how a heart devoted to worship can influence the world.
In addition to the weekly passages studied, students will read through the entire book of Psalms during the course. Audio versions will be recommended for students who prefer listening. Scripture memorization will be encouraged and rewarded but will not be required.
