Complete German Program

This class is part of the MyFunScience German program, a sequence of live online homeschool classes that guide students from introductory German through advanced language study.

Many students complete several levels as part of their high school foreign language studies.

German National Honor Society Opportunity

Students enrolled in the MyFunScience German program may be eligible for induction into the German National Honor Society (Delta Epsilon Phi), sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG).

Students who complete at least three semesters of German and maintain strong academic performance may be invited to join the MyFunScience chapter of the honor society. Membership recognizes excellence in German language study and provides an achievement students may include on their high school transcripts.

  • Minimum of three semesters of German study
  • 3.3 GPA (87%) or higher in German coursework
  • 3.0 overall GPA

Each spring, eligible students are invited to participate in an online induction ceremony. Inducted students receive an official certificate and a gold seal that may be added to their high school diploma. After induction, students may also purchase honor cords for graduation through the AATG store.

A small induction fee helps cover honor society dues and mailing of certificates.
