Young Scientist Zoology Course Overview
In this Zoology class, students will study the animal kingdom, specifically the species of “creatures that creep on the land”. This includes the characteristics of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and many others.
Students will study animal habitats, behaviors, diets, and adaptations. Our studies will expand to topics of endangered species, mimicry and camouflage, classification of species and various ecosystems.
Students will complete numerous hands-on experiments and projects for homework as well as take quizzes and exams. During our live sessions, students will contribute to peer interaction and participation while developing note taking skills.
