Young Scientist Zoology Course Overview
This class is part of the MyFunScience online homeschool science program, which offers live courses for elementary, middle school, and high school students.
This homeschool zoology class introduces younger students to the fascinating world of animals. Students participate in a live online zoology class where they explore animal habitats, classification, adaptations, and the incredible diversity of the animal kingdom.
This zoology course is designed for students in grades 4–7 and helps students develop curiosity about the natural world while learning how animals live, survive, and interact with their environments.
Young Scientist Zoology introduces students to the fascinating world of land animals and the incredible diversity of the animal kingdom. Students will explore the characteristics, habitats, and behaviors of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and many other creatures that live on land.
Throughout the course, students will study animal adaptations, diets, ecosystems, classification of species, and the role animals play in maintaining healthy environments. Topics such as endangered species, camouflage, and mimicry will help students understand how animals survive and thrive in the wild.
Students will complete numerous hands-on projects and experiments while developing important academic skills such as note-taking, studying for quizzes and exams, and participating in class discussions.
