Description
Upper Elementary US & World Geography
Students will go on an exciting trip across the US & the World and stamp their own personal passport while engaging in this upper elementary geography course! Students will explore the countries, continents, and cultures around the globe while discovering, landmark sites and Christian heritage through visually stunning books and engaging worksheets!
The first half of the year we will be studying US geography and special landmarks of each state. The second half of the year will be spent studying world geography. Students will complete hands-on projects for homework every few weeks as well as take quizzes and exams.
Students will use textbooks with weekly readings. During our live sessions, students will take notes, view videos and take virtual tours of landmarks, learn fun facts and contribute to discussions to make geography interesting and fun.
