Upper Elementary Language Arts Course Description
This Upper Elementary Language Arts class focuses on building a foundation in various aspects of language arts in order to prepare them for more advanced study.
Key topics will include: grammar, usage, and mechanics, developing sentences to form a paragraph, as well as practicing reading comprehension, basic literature analysis, and critical thinking by engaging with a mixture of genres.

Prerequisites

No prerequisite courses required, but a student should come in knowing the following basic skills:
- how to write a complete sentence
- reading at a 3rd grade level or higher
- capitals, ending punctuation, contraction words
