Modern Media & Content Creation Description
Fall Semester – Modern Media:
This dynamic, hands-on course empowers students to become confident digital creators in today’s media-driven world. In the Fall semester, students build foundational skills in photo editing, video production, screen recording, podcasting, and audio editing using accessible tools like Photopea, Canva, and Clipchamp. Students learn to craft compelling visual and audio content through creative projects such as social graphics, narrated tutorials, and short-form videos.
Spring Semester – Content Creation:
The focus shifts to strategy and storytelling. Students plan, produce, and publish original content—ranging from blogs and educational resources to personal portfolios—while exploring topics like branding, digital ethics, and platform-specific engagement. By the end of the course, students will have a polished portfolio and a clear understanding of how to create meaningful content with purpose and impact.
