Description
Life of David Course Description
In this Life of David character study we will explore the triumphs and tragedies displayed in King David’s life. What made him a man after God’s own heart? What empowered him to trust in the Lord when his life was being threatened? How does his life shape the way we live and worship today? As we deep dive into his life story, we will learn how a young man changed the world by worshipping God in a field with some sheep. We will find the resolve to endure hardship and stay true to the King of all kings, the Son of David, Jesus.
In addition to the weekly passages studied, we will be reading through the entire book of Psalms. Audio versions will be recommended if students prefer listening rather than reading. Memorizing will be encouraged (and rewarded!) but will not be required.
