What Is the Arkansas LEARNS Act?
The Arkansas Education Freedom Account (EFA) Program, created under the Arkansas LEARNS Act in 2023, provides state-funded education dollars to help families customize their child’s K–12 education.
Beginning in the 2025–2026 school year, the program expands to all Arkansas K–12 students. Eligible families receive $6,864 per student, or $7,627 for Succeed Scholarship recipients. Funds are distributed quarterly.
EFA funds may be used for MyFunScience online classes and other approved educational expenses. Arkansas residents with students eligible for public school enrollment may apply online, and applications are processed on a rolling basis.
If demand exceeds available funding, priority is given to returning EFA students and designated high-need groups before other applicants are funded.
How to Use Arkansas EFA Funds at MyFunScience
