Pre-Calculus Course Overview:
PreCalculus is an application-based math class where the concepts of Algebra are extended to real-world problems. Pre-calculus is an essential beginning for students wishing to pursue STEM-related careers and college study. Students will strengthen their use of math concepts they previously learned and understand content on a deeper level.
Topics covered include polynomials, exponentials and logarithms, rational equations, and understanding functions and graphs. We will also discuss trigonometry including right triangle trigonometry, graphs of trig functions, and trig identities and equations.
